The summer nautical headquarters of CUS VERONA is located in Mezzana-Marilleva, in a central position in the Val di Sole, on the banks of the Noce river, crossed by the cycle path, near the Palazzetto dello Sport.

CUS members will find a welcoming green area, equipped with barbecue grills, tables and sun loungers, where it will be possible to refresh themselves at the end of the numerous activities proposed.

From the moment of arrival in the large car parks of the base, the participants in the river descent tests will no longer have to use their car, after having filled in the registration form, they will be transported to the boarding and disembarking points with the CUS VERONA – X Raft, and will have free use of the base with changing rooms with showers and a dining room.

In 1982, with the first Canoe Kayak School on the Noce river, the adventure of the Veronese technical staff began, which still lives and renews itself in Val di Sole with the CUS Verona! From the experience of these first Veronese enthusiasts in Val di Sole, the River Center for Outdoor Activities called “X Raft” was re-born in the summer of 2008: a rafting center specializing in river activities and outdoor sports proposals in the Val di Sole. since 2016 by the University Sports Center of Verona, X Raft is technically organized by a highly tested team of river professionals;

The historical core of the technical-organizational staff is still made up of the first “pioneers” of veronese river sports, canoe kayak instructors and rafting guides, active in Val di Sole since the 80s! In the evocative new base of Mezzana, an old sawmill operated by a water mill refurbished specifically for river sports activities in 1993, the CUS Verona Canoe Kayak Guides and Masters transmit the passion for the river, bringing neophytes closer to the forts. emotions that can be experienced on a kayak, sailing aboard a “Raft” boat or immersed in the current with the Hydrospeed!
